Lodi, a new landscape for work
Zucchetti Village was created through the regeneration of the former My Lodi shopping centre, which was transformed into a new headquarters bringing together architecture, technology and wellbeing. Designed by Lombardini22, the complex integrates the existing buildings with a new six-storey volume, creating an urban landmark that will accommodate approximately 1,500 workstations.
The project includes steel structures and roofing, curtain walling and a dramatic entrance hall, all interacting with a hybrid structural system of reinforced concrete and glulam timber. Bioclimatic winter gardens, internal courtyards and landscaped terraces introduce daylight and nature into the building, contributing to effective energy management and enhancing the quality of the shared spaces.
The project combines different materials and technologies within a unified architectural composition, transforming a disused retail site into an open, efficient and future-focused workplace.
