projects
Our passion and drive have been instrumental to the success of numerous projects both domestically and all around the world.
All of those projects have different characteristics, different background stories and different specific requirements.
But each and every one of them embodies our whole experience.
They are all unique.
From industrial hangars to high-bay warehouses, from bold suspension bridges to glass skyscrapers in the world’s largest cities, we have realised more than 2000 projects over the years.
The following selection showcases our various areas of competence.

Steel access galleries for 190 new apartments
On the site of the former municipal sawmill in St. Gallen, nine timber buildings with around 190 apartments have been constructed. At the centre of the development are Sägiplatz and Sägigasse, two public spaces with restaurant and retail areas that connect the new quarter with the surrounding neighbourhood.
PICHLER projects planned, supplied and installed the access galleries leading to the apartments. The load-bearing steel structure, made of hot-dip galvanised tubular and rolled profiles, was designed for long-term durability without disrupting the clear architectural language of the timber buildings.
Prefabricated steel-concrete elements with an integrated drainage system were used for the decking. This solution reduces maintenance requirements and weather-related damage over the lifetime of the development.
